PHOENIX — If you’re starting out your week by looking for a new job, you might want to check out a job fair in Phoenix on Monday.

Over 40 companies will be looking for workers.

“We have companies such Go Daddy, Liberty Mutual, State Farm, and a lot of other very big and prominent local players that are going to be hiring for over a thousand jobs,” said Rick Naylor, the CEO of LocalWork.com in Phoenix.

Naylor said those companies will have a variety of positions to fill.

“We have everything from account managers, to receptionist, to inside sales, customer service, healthcare and technical positions,” Naylor said.

Some companies will be accepting resumes, while others will still require you to apply online. If that’s the case, Naylor said you should see this as a chance to “network.”

“Recruiters write down names,” Naylor said. “They remember individuals that they worked with and they will be looking for your resume to come through their web portal.”

Monday’s job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Phoenix Airport Marriott. You can find more information at LocalWork.com.

We want to hear from you.
