Jodi Arias TV movie to debut June 22

PHOENIX — Fans of true crime, mark the calendar: the made-for-TV movie “Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret” will premiere June 22, according to the cable network Lifetime.

The original production stars Tania Raymonde (“Lost”). Arias was found guilty in Phoenix of the murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander on May 8.

The trial has drawn drew international attention for its gory and salacious details. Arias had entered a not guilty plea, claiming self-defense in the murder of Alexander.

The trial is in the penalty phase. Jurors have already determined that Arias is eligible for the death penalty.

To prep viewers for the movie, the network will offer up the documentary, “Jodi Arias: Beyond the Headlines,” May 22 and again before the movie.
