Main Street Minute: Over 300 Valley customer service and hotel jobs up for grabs

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is holding a job fair Tuesday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the resort near Hayden Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.  The resort has open positions in reservations, rooms and food and beverage services as well as seasonal positions for the “Christmas at the Princess,” festival, which runs from October to January.

• A big General Dynamics Information Technology and Friendly House job fair will run from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The event will take place near Seventh Avenue and Buckeye Road in the Emmett McLoughlin Community Training and Education Center. More than 150 customer services representatives positions are available for full-time, part-time, bilingual and non-bilingual roles to support medicare and marketplace. Starting pay is $12.53 an hour.

• In case you haven’t heard, it’s National Coffee Day. Dunkin’ Donuts is giving away a free medium cup of hot or iced dark roast coffee all Tuesday. The limit is one per customer. If you enroll in Dunkin Donuts’ rewards program Tuesday, you’ll receive four free coffees.
