Fatal accident closes SB I-17 at Union Hills

A fatal accident Tuesday morning has closed the on-ramp of southbound Interstate 17 at Union Hills Drive.
No other information was immediately available.
Other accidents have made for slow going on eastbound Interstate 10 during the early commute hours.
Three accidents on the freeway at 27th Avenue have caused delays all the way to 83rd Avenue, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Estimated drive time from 67th Avenue to the deck park tunnel is about 40 minutes.
