All right, it isn’t a real lion dog. It’s just Fritz, a golden retriever famous for his inability to catch food, wearing a lion’s mane wig while trying to catch bubbles.
Fritz tries his best to catch bubbles, though the video’s description denies the “beast’s” resemblance to the Internet famous pooch.
“While many observers have made note of this ferocious beast’s remarkable resemblance to Fritz, the scientific community remains divided on whether this is a previously undetected subspecies native to North America or whether rogue scientists may have successfully bred a golden retriever with a lion,” the description reads.
It continues with a warning: “Until more information is available, hikers are advised to carry bubbles, as the subject appears easily distracted by them.”
Fritz is pretty well known for his viral videos that showcase his inability to catch food.
His nonskill has landed him on “Good Morning America” and the “Today”.

But in his latest video, it seems Fritz — excuse us, the mysterious lion dog — does catch at least a few of the bubbles. Victory!
