PHOENIX — Looking for something to do this weekend in the Valley? The list below offers a few options.
Jamie Foxx at Arizona Jazz Festival
Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx performs the music of Ray Charles on Friday night as part of the Arizona Jazz Festival. The event runs all weekend at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park. Tickets range from $35 to $315.
The Phoenix Zoo holds its annual Halloween event Friday night. Zombies, witches, creepy clowns and vampires are on patrol until 10:30 p.m. Tickets range from $6 to $8.
Arizona State University is holding its inaugural Cronkite Day celebration Friday morning at 7 a.m. Take a tour of the state-of-the-art media facility and meet some of the Cronkite School’s past and present students. Admission is free.
The legendary Motown group is at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler. The soul singers will be performing favorite songs, including “My Girl” and “Papa Was A Rolling Stone.” Tickets are $29-$99.

Comedian Ben Roy performs at StandUp, Scottsdale! Friday and Saturday night. Tickets are $15.
Salt River Field Balloon Spooktacular
Dozens of hot-air balloons are on display Friday at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick for Spooktacular. Make sure the kids are dressed in costumes because trick-or-treating is encouraged. Children can ride in the balloons, which are tethered. Live music, a haunted house and a vendors market are all part of the event. Tickets range from $5 to $10.
