GLENDALE, Ariz. — John Cena, WWE superstar, was at the Renaissance Hotel in Glendale to receive a special award from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
He was named the foundation’s Most Prevalent Wish Granter. According to the foundation, “Cena has granted more wishes than any other celebrity wish granter in the organization’s 32-year history.”
“It’s extremely rewarding, very rewarding,” Cena said.
“The wish could be anything… anything. Over 300 of these families have chosen to hang out with me. That’s very difficult to put into perspective.”
Make-A-Wish is headquartered in Arizona and grants more than 18,000 wishes annually to children with life-threatening illnesses.
