PHOENIX — Looking for something to do this weekend in the Valley? The list below offers a few options.
Former American Idol Carrie Underwood is at Jobing.com Arena Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $38 to $58.
The third annual Arizona Taco Festival is at Salt River Fields Saturday and Sunday. Sample thousands of tacos, watch some lucha libre and taste samples from the tequila expo. Tickets are $12 and free for kids 12 and under.
Nearly two dozen vendors will be displaying and selling all types of food and wine at the 12th annual Taste of the Town at Scottsdale Quarter on Friday night. General admission tickets are $65, VIPs are $85. Proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Charismatic vocalist Pepe Aguilar brings his mix of pop and mariachi-style music to the Celebrity Theatre on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $55.
Former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogarty is at Veterans Memorial Coliseum as part of the Arizona State Fair Concert Series. He takes the stage Friday night at 7 p.m. The concert is free with fair admission, otherwise tickets cost $20.
Comedian and star of Comedy Central’s Insomniac Dave Attell is at Stand Up Live! on Friday and Saturday night. Tickets are $30.
The popular Valley winery and bistro holds its annual Kokopelli Krush on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. in Chandler. Don’t be afraid to get your feet dirty by stomping on tons of grapes. Tickets are $15. Wine and beer samples are available.
