Paradise Valley schools turn to web for bully solutions

PHOENIX — The Paradise Valley Unified School District is relying on technology to help stop bullying.

The district has partnered with, based in Scottsdale, to make a difference.

“A parent or student can go online, they can use their smartphone or IPad and anonymously report,” said Kimberly Guerin, the district’s director of elementary education.

“The tip will go directly to two designated people at the school, it could be a counselor or assistant principal.”

The program went into effect at the beginning of the school year, so there is no hard data on the number of reports school officials have received thus far.

However, there has been positive feedback from parents and administrators.
