A Valley pollster said the newly-released jobs report could offset President Barack Obama’s dismal performance in Wednesday’s debate.
“The Republicans and Mitt Romney have made such a point of attacking the president because unemployment hadn’t dropped below eight percent during his administration,” said Michael O’Neil. “Well, it’s below eight and they can’t say that anymore.”
O’Neil added that the new job numbers will work in the president’s favor when he debates Romney for the second time on Oct. 16.
