Alleged robbery suspects shot at by victim

Police are searching for two robbery suspects who were shot at by the owner of the home they were robbing, the Scottsdale Police Department said.
The victim arrived at his home in the 6600 block of East Lewis about 11:00 a.m. Tuesday to find a teal Honda Ridgeline truck backed up into his driveway.
As the victim approached the truck, two suspects jumped in the truck and sped at the victim. In response, the victim opened fire with his personal handgun, striking the vehicle’s windshield numerous times.
It is unknown if the suspects were hit and if any property was taken from the home.
The driver was a Hispanic male in his late 20s. He is believed to be about six feet tall with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue jeans.
The passenger was also a Hispanic male in his late 20s. He stood 5-foot-9 with a stocky build. The victim was unsure what color clothing the passenger was wearing.
