NASHUA, N.H. — Sen. John McCain spent time campaigning on Monday in New Hampshire for presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
According to WMUR, McCain, a two-time winner of the New Hampshire primary, spent a lot of time talking about foreign policy and how Romney needs to focus his attention on it.
“Obviously, this election is going to be about jobs and the economy, but now with recent events and the tragic death of our ambassador in Libya, this has raised the issue significantly.”
McCain said it’s up to independent voters whether or not Romney could win the presidential race without carrying New Hampshire.
New Hampshire has four electoral votes, which could be important if the race is close.
