Beer and wine to be sold at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

The happiest place on Earth is going to make park goers happier by offering alcohol for the first time.
Beer and wine will be served in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom’s new restaurant, Be Our Guest in New Fantasyland, according to ABC News.
Be Our Guest is a French restaurant that is themed after “Beauty and the Beast”, set to preview on Nov. 19.
“As part of the overall theming, we wanted to offer wine that enhances the guest experience and complements the French-inspired cuisine,” said Stuart McGuire, Beverage Director, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. “The wines focus primarily on France’s famous wine-growing regions, including Champagne, Alsace, Loire, Rhone, Burgundy and Bordeaux.
The restaurant’s beverage list includes wines priced between $8 and $17 a glass. The beers range from $6.25 to $10.50.
Reservations for Be Our Guest are being taken now.
The official opening date of New Fantasyland is Dec. 6, which will be the largest expansion in the park’s history.
