PHOENIX — Glendale Fire Department has announced the cancellation of the annual parade and festival that was scheduled for Oct. 6.
The fire department’s decision to cancel the parade is based on the city’s ongoing budget challenges.
This would have been the parade’s 30th anniversary. The department hopes the long-standing tradition, held every October during the National Fire Prevention Association’s fire prevention month, will return.
