PHOENIX — A mother and her teen daughter were injured Wednesday morning in Surprise when a dump truck sideswiped their car.

The accident occurred outside Valley Vista High School, near West Greenway Road and North Parkview Place. The girl is a student and was on her way to school.

The truck driver was unharmed. Cause of the crash was being investigated, but no citation were issued at the site.
