PHOENIX — It’s a dead man’s party Wednesday night in north Phoenix as the 13th Floor Haunted House interviews for zombies and other creatures that go bump in the night.
Tim Pugsley heads up the 13th Floor, which will be open Sept. 21-Nov. 10 near Bell Road and Interstate 17.
Zombies span all walks of life — or death — he said.
“Zombies are a huge craze right now and we take into consideration everything that’s going on out there and put it into our own little ways of creating a pretty magnificent haunted house,” Pugsley said.
Kyle Sicard of Phoenix was a zombie before it became cool through TV shows such as “The Walking Dead.”
“The looks on people’s faces. Oddly enough, mostly adults are the ones that are scared,” said Sicard, who’s been dressing up like a zombie for about 20 years.
It doesn’t get old, either, said Sicard.
The casting call at 2814 W. Bell Road start at 7 p.m.
