Vehicle hits family of 3 crossing street in Tempe

A family of three was hit by a car in Tempe while crossing the street Wednesday morning, near Rural and Guadalupe roads.
Daniel Berarde, 33, his wife Amy, 30, and their four-month-old daughter were struck when a green car driven came through the intersection near Kiwanis Park. A pickup truck then hit the car.
The little girl has been hospitalized, listed in serious condition.
Amy Berarde is listed in critical condition while her husband and the two drivers sustained non life-threatening injuries.
