Chandler Police have arrested a man suspected of committing a string of burglaries at cellphone stores.
The suspect, Mark Anthony Voglio, was taken into custody Monday, after an officer on patrol noticed Voglio was wearing a backpack similar to the one known to be carried by the suspect.
The backpack contained gloves, wire cutters and a rock. Voglio, 22, had voluntarily emptied the backpack for the officer.
All eight stores robbed are in west Chandler. The arrest was made in the area of Chandler Boulevard and Price Road.
Voglio, who was booked into the Maricopa County Jail, faces eight counts of third-degree burglary and one count apiece of possession of burglary tools and possession of stolen property.
