App lets users play out election Punch Out style

As the election approaches, we all reach the point where the inundation of coverage makes us want to punch something.

So why not play as one candidate beating the snot out of the other?

According to KSL.com, “Vote!! The Game” is an app for Apple products that features a cartoon version of Mitt Romney and Barack Obama duking it out.

The game is not overly violent, as the comically-garbed candidates tend to swing balloons, foam fingers and rubber chickens at each other rather than swords or daggers.

“We wanted to make something that was good humored and funny. Making this game, we were just laughing the whole time,” [Creative Director Donald Mustard] said.

Game designers also partnered with Rock The Vote to register the users to vote.
