DPS searching for SUV involved in hit-and-run

Authorities are searching for an SUV that was involved in a hit-and-run crash, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
The accident happened about 11:50 p.m. near the Loop 101 and Raintree in Scottsdale on Aug. 21. DPS and fire officials were on the scene of a previous accident when a light-colored SUV struck a motorcycle before the driver fled the scene.
The motorcyclist was transported for treatment.
The suspect SUV will have damage to the passenger side of the front bumper. No license plate was seen and a description of the driver was not given.
