Heavy delays for westbound lanes on Loop 202 in Tempe

A closure of all westbound lanes on the Loop 202 in Tempe has caused heavy delays near the Loop 101 and 202 interchange.
A crash had traffic backed up at least three miles on Monday afternoon.
“It appears that a car had broken down in the middle of the traffic lanes,” said Carrick Cook with DPS. “Another car, at full speed, ends up rear-ending that car, causing that car to roll over.”
The lanes were reopened about 3:00 p.m.
Two people are confirmed to be injured.
