The landlord for alleged Colorado shooter James Homes has filed court papers to evict him.
According to the Denver Post, Holmes is still technically a resident at the apartment located at 1690 Paris St.
The landlord said the act of murdering numerous individuals and booby-trapping the premises were substantial violations of the lease.
Once the claim is processed by the court, Holmes, or a representative for him, will have to pick up his property, [Victor Sulzer, an attorney with the firm representing the landlord] said.
“There must still be some belongings in there otherwise we wouldn’t be doing this,” he said.
If Holmes does not send someone to reclaim any property he may have left inside, it will be placed on the curb.
Holmes’ attorneys have been notified of the eviction.
