PHOENIX — When it comes to shopping with smartphones, we’re not all thumbs.
If you need a car, coat or copper pot, there’s an app for that and Americans are using those apps a lot. About 45 million people in the U.S. used a smartphone to buy an item during the month of June.
The eBay and Amazon apps led the way, with more than 10 million unique users in June, but daily deal sites such as Groupon and Living Social were not far behind.
