Main Street Minute: Restaurants hiring, offering weekend specials

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Mad Greens will open two more Valley locations this month. The restaurant, which specializes in made-to-order salads, paninis, wraps and soups, will hire up to 50 employees for the Scottsdale and Phoenix sites. Applications can be filed online.
• Fox Restaurants Concepts will be offering a 25 percent discount during the holiday weekend to anyone who signs up for e-bites online. It has to be done before Labor Day. Participating restaurants include Zinburger Wine and Burger bar, Blanco Tacos and Tequila, Wildflower and True Food.
• Rawhide Western Town in Chandler will reopen for the season Friday. The venue near Interstate 10 and Wild Horse Pass Boulevard includes new hours, additions to the steakhouse menu, as well as a new pizza tavern.
