Eastbound lanes of Interstate 10
between Ray Road and Chandler Boulevard have reopened after an overnight fatal crash.

Thursday’s accident involved at least nine
vehicles, including three semi-trucks. One fatality
was reported.

The driver of a pickup truck triggered the crash, said investigators. Witnesses reported the truck was speeding and the driver lost control. He was ejected from his truck and killed.

No other life-threatening injuries were reported but two people were transported to a local hospital.
