Jun 27, 2012, 5:29 PM | Updated: 6:36 pm

Drivers near Phoenix may have had a hard time driving Wednesday with blowing dust affecting road conditions.

Specifically, ADOT said Interstate 10 between Casa Grande and Tucson, I-8 near Casa Grande and State Route 347 near Maricopa would be affected by blowing dust.

The National Weather Service said that blowing dust would be present until at least 7:00 p.m. and wind speeds could hit as high as 25 mph.

Visibility could drop as low as a half-mile.

Some cities affected were Maricopa, Chandler, Gilbert and Phoenix.

Sky Harbor reported delays of about 15 minutes due to the storm.

Drivers that get caught in a storm should pull completely off the road and turn off all the lights in the vehicle, including emergency flashers.

We want to hear from you.
