PHOENIX — A Phoenix man has been sentenced to 125 years in prison for a
series of Paradise Valley home invasions in 2009.
Maricopa County prosecutors said Justin Lee Martin, 34, was sentenced
Thursday. He was convicted last month on 23 counts including armed robbery,
burglary, theft, kidnapping, misconduct involving weapons and attempted armed
robbery.
Martin was sentenced to life in prison without parole for 25 years on 11 of the
counts. He received sentences of between 16-25 years on the other counts. A judge
ordered that some of the sentences will run concurrently and the others
consecutively.
Martin was arrested in December 2009 after six home invasions in affluent
Paradise Valley east of Phoenix.
His 53-year-old uncle also was arrested and pleaded guilty in
October 2010.
