TUCSON, Ariz. — A Tucson woman is facing a felony
child abuse charge after
a baby girl she was caring for was found floating in a
bathtub.
Tucson police say 27-year-old Zada Davis was arrested and
booked into Pima
County Jail on Tuesday in the near drowning of 10-month-
old Winter Breeze Azure.
The girl is hospitalized in critical condition.
Firefighters arrived at the scene of the apartment on
North Campbell Avenue at
about 2:45 p.m. say the girl was unconscious and not
breathing.
Detectives say Davis, who was caring for two other kids
including her own, left
the child alone with the water running for about 10
minutes.
Police say the other children, ages 7 and 8 months, were
not injured.
