PHOENIX – Authorities say the cause of death for a missing Arizona comedy
club owner who turned up dead in a hotel room has been labeled undetermined
after an autopsy.
Lt. Jared Griffith, a spokesman for Buckeye police, says Tuesday that the cause
of death will instead be determined through toxicology tests.
Results of the tests aren’t expected for several weeks.
Anderson was found at hotel room in Buckeye by a housekeeper on June 6.
He was reported missing May 15, three days after he reportedly left Oklahoma
City to travel to Phoenix or Dallas to do business.
Anderson had homes in both Arizona and Oklahoma.
His club, the Tempe Improv, closed on June 1 after a 23-year run.
