PHOENIX — A body was discovered at Mountain View Park in Phoenix early Tuesday morning. The man had been stabbed to death, according to police.
Residents of the area around Seventh Avenue and Cheryl Drive told police that many homeless people sleep in the park.
Sgt. Trent Crump said someone who had been sleeping in the park heard a commotion about 3 a.m.
A portion of the park was closed off as police investigate.
