Justin Bieber sells out Arizona show in one hour

As if there was any doubt, the Valley officially has Bieber Fever.

Teenage pop star Justin Bieber sold out all dates for his U.S. tour in less than an hour and his Sept. 29 show in Glendale was no exception.

“It’s selling very well and the demand is quite large,” said Will Furniss, owner of TicketLobster.com in Phoenix. “To sell out that quickly — you typically don’t see that unless it’s Madonna, the Rolling Stones or any of those other groups with big, big fan bases.”

Jobing.com Arena is Bieber’s first stop on tour that will stop in more than 40 cities. The teenage heartthrob announced dates last week on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Tickets for the Glendale show range from $200 for upper-level seats, to $2,975 for the second-row.

“There is such a big demand out there that you can expect prices to rise,” Furniss said.

Bieber sold out Madison Square Garden in 30 seconds on Saturday. All of the interest has fueled speculation Bieber could add shows based on demand.

That most likely won’t happen for fans in the Phoenix area, as Bieber is scheduled to play the MGM Grand in Las Vegas the night after his Glendale show.
