Phoenix police searching for suspect in Subway jewelry robbery

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a young man suspected of robbing a young woman outside of a local Subway last April.
The suspect, described as a 19-year-old black male wearing a gray “Detroit” hoodie with a large mole on his left cheek, was leaving a Subway restaurant near 19th and Northern avenues in Phoenix the night of April 23 when the robbery occurred.
Outside of the restaurant, he engaged in conversation with the victim, a 29-year-old woman, while she was loading her two children into her car before grabbing the necklace off of her neck. The suspect then took off on foot.
