The suspect, described as a 19-year-old black male wearing a gray “Detroit” hoodie with a large mole on his left cheek, was leaving a Subway restaurant near 19th and Northern avenues in Phoenix the night of April 23 when the robbery occurred.

Outside of the restaurant, he engaged in conversation with the victim, a 29-year-old woman, while she was loading her two children into her car before grabbing the necklace off of her neck. The suspect then took off on foot.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Tempe Police at (480)-350-8311 or Silent Witness at 480-W-I-T-N-E-S-S. You can also leave an anonymous tip on Silent Witness’ website.
