Mesa ranks as the Best Big City in the Southwest in a new report.
Money.com, owned by Time, Inc., recently released their list of the Best Places to Live 2015.
Mesa racked up the awards, also earning a spot in the top five best places to live for cities with more than 300,000 residents, joining Tampa, Omaha, Pittsburgh and Denver. The city was also listed in the top five best places for outdoor lovers.
Money.com looked at 63 urban centers and factors such as job market, accessibility to health care, culture, open space and affordable housing. Extra points were given to cities with low crime and strong public schools. One city was then selected as the best in the Northeast, Southwest, Southeast, West and Midwest regions.
