It seems that, no matter how long Congress argues about or passes reforms, the cost of health care keeps going up.
For some, that means medical or dental care is simply not in the budget.
A Valley nonprofit, the Neighborhood Christian Clinic, is looking to change that. Through volunteer efforts and donations, the clinic provides both medical and dental care at minimal cost to the patient.
The charity said about one million Phoenicians do not have the means to pay for full-on health care, so it tries to be a one-stop shop for people in need of affordable care.
The clinic is looking for more volunteers and accepts donations online.
