PHOENIX — For those who have been waiting to savor in the citrus-y taste of Four Peak’s White Ale, wait no longer: The brewery has added its former seasonal beer to its mainstay menu.
The brew made its first appearance in 2002, quickly rising to the become the best-selling craft seasonal beer in Arizona. Greg Ross of Four Peaks said the continued popularity of the beer drove the brewery to add it to their mainstay menu.
“White Ale has always been a popular beer since it was first introduced as a Single Tank Series offering,” he said in a recent press release. “We felt the time is right to finally add White Ale to our regular beer lineup to satisfy the demands of Four Peaks customers.”
One of the unique properties of White Ale is its use of local ingredients, such as citrus from Greenfield Citrus Nursery in Mesa, Arizona, and flour from Hayden Flour Mills in Tempe, Arizona.
The addition of White Ale to the mainstay menu has been the first since Sunbru Kölsch Style Ale was added about six years ago.
In anticipation of the new addition, Four Peaks has increased production of the brew by 30 percent. It will be available at all Four Peaks locations and stores that carry Four Peaks beer.
