Valley entrepreneurs open architecture offices in Phoenix and Europe

Räkkhaus, a new architecture firm, has launched in Phoenix in the Roosevelt Row arts district. The company also has an office in Helsinki, Finland, that opened simultaneously in 2024.
Real estate professionals Jordan Taylor, Jason Merck and Zac Cohen partnered to launch the company. The firm is led by principal architect Sean Ragudo, who also leads the Helsinki office.
The Phoenix office at 829 N 1st Ave., has nine employees, four of which are architects.
Current local projects include Rainbow Road, a 5-story apartment complex with 36 units and Manzana, a 12-story, 151,927 square-foot mixed-use space. Both are in the Roosevelt Row arts district.
Projects outside Arizona include Corazon, a 26-story residential high-rise in Polanco, Mexico and House X, a Palm Beach, Florida-based single-family home built in the shape of an ‘X’.
