Police seeking tips after man fatally stabbed at central Phoenix gas station

PHOENIX – A man was fatally stabbed Sunday at a central Phoenix gas station, authorities said.
Officers responded to a stabbing call in the area of 16th Street and Indian School Road around 6 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
They located a man believed to be in his early 30s who was suffering from at least one stab wound.
The man died of his injuries after being taken to a hospital by the fire department, police said.
Witnesses said the suspect did not remain at the scene after stabbing the victim.
No other details about the case were made available.
