PHOENIX — The Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign will host a Phoenix rally on the eve of the 2024 presidential election as part of its nationwide Get Out The Vote initiative.
The Democratic candidates’ effort in the Valley is part of a series of simultaneous events that will take place Monday night in Arizona and the other six battleground states: Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The Phoenix rally will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Celebrity Theatre.
The event will include a live musical performance by La Original Banda El Limon. In addition, local leaders will speak on behalf of the Harris-Walz ticket.
The general public can register for the event here.
Harris will hold multiple rallies in Pennsylvania on Monday and be stationed at Howard University, her alma mater, in Washington D.C. on election night.
The Get Out The Vote movement, which focuses on the mobilization of young and non-traditional voters, will be livestreamed on various news platforms on Monday.
Arizona polls will be open on Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
In 2020, Joe Biden won the state of Arizona by under 11,000 votes over Donald Trump.
