PHOENIX — A child care brand and a restaurant are the two newest retailers joining Queen Creek Marketplace near Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads.
First Watch, an American chain that serves breakfast, lunch and brunch, opened on Monday. The 4,500-square-foot eatery is known for its breakfast tacos, juices, pancakes, coffee and more.
The other new retailer is Carter’s, which is known for selling apparel for babies, toddlers and children.
Parents hoping to dress their little ones up in festive clothes for the holidays will have to wait a while, though. The 4,100-square-foot store isn’t open yet.
However, the Carter’s at Queen Creek Marketplace is scheduled to throw open its doors on Nov. 21.
Once both stores are open, the 900,000-square-foot shopping center’s occupancy rate will spike to 98%.
What else is at Queen Creek Marketplace?
Other stores at the center include Target, Trader Joe’s, Dave and Buster’s and more.
Construction is already underway and more locations are expected to open in the next few months, according to Vestar, the developer behind the center.
Angie Kory, the vice president of leasing at Vestar, said the shopping center is a top shopping destination for Arizona families.
“We are committed to bringing a diverse range of retailers to this rapidly growing community,” Kory said in a Monday news release. “These new additions underscore our dedication to enhancing the East Valley’s retail, dining, and entertainment landscape.”
