Arizona detention officer arrested after allegedly hitting a family member

PHOENIX – An Arizona detention officer was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a domestic violence incident, authorities said.
Jesse Wilburn Sr., 42, allegedly hit a family member during an argument outside a gas station in Paulden around 7 p.m., according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
Paulden is an unincorporated community along State Route 89 about 35 miles north of Prescott.

Wilburn, who works for YCSO as a detention officer, was booked on misdemeanor counts of assault and disorderly conduct.
He also is under investigation for allegedly driving under the influence, YCSO said.
