Silver Alert canceled after missing Phoenix woman located, returned to group home

PHOENIX — A woman who went missing from a Phoenix group home last week, prompting a Silver Alert, was found safe, authorities announced Tuesday morning.

The Silver Alert for 33-year-old Tiffany Shivers was issued Friday, two days after she was last seen in the area of 51st Avenue and McDowell Road.

Shivers suffers from a medical condition that can cause her to appear confused and disoriented.

The alert was canceled after she was located and returned to the group home, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

No other details about the case were made available.
