West Valley investigators searching for clues after man killed in overnight shooting

PHOENIX – Investigators are searching for clues after a man was killed in a West Valley shooting early Monday, authorities said.
The Glendale Police Department received multiple ShotSpotter activations in a neighborhood near 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 1:30 a.m.
They also received 911 calls from residents who reported hearing multiple shots and seeing people running.
What did officers find at scene of West Valley shooting?
Officers who responded to the scene found one victim with gunshot wounds. The man, identified as 49-year-old Dwight Steele, died of his injuries, police said.
Detectives spent the morning canvassing the area and interviewing potential witnesses. Police said there wasn’t much information to go on.
