PHOENIX — Foodies in the West Valley are in luck because a family-owned restaurant chain is opening its fourth location in Buckeye this November.
The new Haymaker restaurant will pop up in Verrado, a large master-planned community in Buckeye. It will be the brand’s fourth Valley location, along with the two in Peoria and one in Goodyear.
The Buckeye Haymaker will be one of the first restaurants to open at a new 35,000-square-foot retail center called Sunrise Market. The center is near Main Street and located along Sunrise Lane and Village Street.
The 4,800-square-foot restaurant will offer the brand’s all-day menu, which includes burgers, pulled pork skillets and eggs benedicts. It will also have a combined rustic and modern aesthetic with natural wood and farmhouse influences.
Westside Concepts, the company behind Haymaker restaurants, will soon be hiring for dozens of positions. That includes servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, line cooks and dishwashers.
Original Haymaker restaurant in Peoria moving places
In addition to opening up a new location in Buckeye, Westside Concepts also plans to relocate its original Haymaker location, which first opened in north Peoria.
The original location will move to Sunrise Promenade, which is near Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria.
It’s just across the street from its original location. The new location will be larger than the original, with 5,000 square feet of space.
“Haymaker is extremely special to us at Westside Concepts and to my family,” Westside Concepts owner Joey Lucidi said in a news release last week. “It was our first concept, and it has propelled the entire company and its growth. We couldn’t be more excited to bring a brand no reimagined design and location to north Peoria and a completely new location to great neighborhood of Verrado.”
