PHOENIX – A Silver Alert was canceled on Monday after 53-year-old Andres Zamarron Jr. was found dead, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Zamarron was last seen on Thursday, on foot leaving the area near the Park Shadows apartment complex in Goodyear.
On Sunday, Zamarron’s power of attorney contacted Goodyear police to provide a welfare check on Zamarron, who he had not spoken to all weekend, which was unusual for Zamarron.
Zamarron does not usually leave his apartment except to go to the Circle K on Litchfield Road and Van Buren Street, authorities said.
The last transaction from his card showed it being used on Friday at a Circle K located at 315 N Litchfield Rd in Goodyear, according to police.
Pings of Zamarron’s cell phone showed him to be in the area of the Park Shadows apartment complex.
Authorities said that his apartment was clean and nothing seemed suspicious. His phone charger and medication were inside the home but not his keys and cellphone.
No other information was made available.
