3 people found dead after firefighters extinguish blaze in rural Maricopa County

PHOENIX – Three people were found dead after a far West Valley fire was extinguished on Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies and firefighters from Buckeye, Avondale and the Arizona Fire and Medical Authority responded to the blaze in a small detached residence behind the main house near 355th Avenue and Elliot Road, in an unincorporated area of rural Maricopa County southwest of Buckeye.
The bodies were discovered after the flames were put out, according to authorities.
No firefighters were injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No other details were made available.
