Arizona woman sentenced to 15 years in prison for murdering husband

PHOENIX — A 43-year-old Arizona woman was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Aug. 26 for murdering her husband, authorities announced Friday.
Terri Lynn Victor of Peridot stabbed her husband in the chest on the morning of July 7, 2022, and pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter on Feb. 14, 2024.
Victor, a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe in east central Arizona, also received three years of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona.
U.S. District Judge Diane J. Humetewa oversaw Victor’s sentencing in a Phoenix court.
The case was investigated by the San Carlos Apache Police Department and the FBI. The prosecution was managed by assistant U.S. attorneys Dimitra Sampson and Vinnie Lichvar.
