(AP) — In a story published Dec. 27, 2023, about comments Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley made about the Civil War, The Associated Press erroneously reported how many people were killed by a gunman at a Charleston, South Carolina, church in 2015. Nine people were killed, not eight.
