Silver Alert canceled after Phoenix man with cognitive disability located

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert issued this week for a 43-year-old Phoenix man with a cognitive disability has been canceled.

The bulletin was deactivate after Madrid Benidicto was located, the Arizona Department of Public Safety announced Thursday.

When the Silver Alert was issued Monday, Benidicto had last been seen leaving on foot from the area of Seventh Street and Euclid Avenue.

He was wearing black shorts, a blue shirt and a black and white jacket.

Benidicto is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 225 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a disability that causes him to become confused and lost easily.
