Enzyme Process manufactures vitamins and supplements.
An explosion inside a 25,000-square-foot facility started the fire, which caused a partial roof collapse of the building, according to a press release from the fire department.
Crews used a defensive operation to extinguish the fire, which typically means crews are isolating or stabilizing the blaze to prevent spread.
Personnel inside the building were able to evacuate.
Crews from Chandler, Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe and Guadalupe fire departments teamed up to extinguish the blaze.
